With Jesus, the Impossible is Possible
Matthew 14: 24-29
If you read Matthew 14:24, know that every storm or situation that you are facing, Jesus already knew they were coming your way! Verse 25 reminds us that you may be in a state of darkness, just how Jesus was walking while dark; however, He knows what you are going through. Verse 27 says: But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” It is I is translated I Am! Don’t be afraid of the dark (your situation). Know that Jesus is the Light. Don’t you dare worry because Jesus is the I am. You need to get out of the boat and walk on water (verse 28,29). The boat represents a place of security and shelter. You have to take a risk! In the natural, Peter could not walk on water, but he took the risk! We have to remember that fear, intimidation, anxiety, and laziness may rise up; but we have to remain strong. Verse 30 reminds us that we aren’t going to sink. No one is exempt from the storms of life. Just know that your trust must be in the Lord! Peter is like many of us, we believe God for what may be possible, but the things that are impossible we will not Trust the Lord. So are you ready to step out of the boat?
